🖼️ The icon print
A 5×7 print of that month's hand-painted icon, signed on the back. For your study, your desk, or wherever you actually pray when nobody is watching. (size will range between 4"x6" - 5"x7").
📃 The folded reflection
Two pages on the saint and on the symbol in the icon: the gesture, the colours, the inscriptions, what the tradition understood by them. Written for someone who already knows the vocabulary.
🙏 A pocket prayer card
The icon on one side, the prayer on the other. Some members carry one. Some give them away. Both are fine.

A sacred mail every month.

The homily is due.
The formation class needs a handout.
Somebody is in the hospital and somebody else is not returning calls.
Whatever you read, you read with one eye on who you will have to give it to.
This arrives with no lesson attached. You are not the one who has to explain it this time.
One decision. Twelve months of quiet.

I received an icon today and wanted to say thank you. It's truly beautiful. I can see the intention that went into the process, and that makes it even more meaningful. The symbolism is powerful...
